If you have given your iPhone for repair and don’t know where to check for your repair status simply go to this page. https://support.apple.com/repairstatus/Main
There in the Apple web page you will find a form to submit with two fields where you have to fill case or repair ID and the postal code or serial number. Fill them and submit it to find the status.
If you are an Apple member you can sign in from that page to find the status.
Normally the case or repair ID will be given to you at the time they accept it. The serial number will be available in the document papers which you receive from them at the store.
Also you can find these numbers in your e-mail which were sent to you by the repair section.

Roaming with iPhone 3G.
iPhone roaming facility is a good feature if you are having one and going with it overseas. With out any hassle you can communicate with your family, friends and office. It allows you to call or receive phone calls and send and receive short messages, chat or even to check your mail and reply to them. It doesn’t need to sign new contracts or to settle bills with your valuable money while you are on o trip in a foreign land.
So what is the bad thing?
Nothing bad some time you have to pay a heavy bill to your service provider once you reach your home and open your phone bill where you will see a large amount of money in the bill for the international roaming.
While you are in the overseas your iPhone 3G will work very hard to find a suitable carrier in that country which have contract with your carrier. So before you leave your home contact and ask your carrier about the possible roaming rate in the country where you are visiting.
Your iPhone 3G is normally programmed to check for your emails every 15 minutes and will give you information on the available messages to you. So every one hour 4 times it will connect to the internet. So if you are staying in a distance land for 7 days your phone should have connected to the internet 28 times using a roaming facility.
So this is the bad thing it can happen to you. It is better to consult with the carrier people before you step in to the airline with your iPhone 3G. Bon 3G
