Skype the leading VoIP provider is expected to release their own app for the iphone users, is going to be released soon. till now the iPhone users were using a third party product from Fring to connect to the Skype to make calls, send receive SMS and to use IM facility. Once it is available it will sharply reduce the call charges for the iPhone users as they are now tied to expensive carriers for making calls.

The iPhone3G will be first launched in Indonesia on 20th March 2009 by Telkomsel. The launch event will be held at Pacific Place South Pavilion.
Customers can buy iPhone3G at the event. The location and event timing are as follows:

Customers who have registered at www.telkomsel.com/iphone before 05.00 PM on 13th March 2009 will be able to get information about iPhone3G via email & SMS, and enjoy service priority and reservation of the iPhone3G device at the event.

The Registered customers will receive email & SMS on their reservation confirmation & date of when they can purchase their iPhone3G at the 3-Day launch event:

Apple’s new operating system which is also called as iPhone 3.0 will be available at 10 a.m. PDT. The new OS will expected to answer many of the iPhone’s lacking features.

There is industry speculation that the Apple is going to release new operating system called iPhone 3.0 on March 17th. It is expected that the new operating system will answer some of the things iPhones are looking for.
