iPad is banned by the Israel authorities. So those who are coming as tourist in to the Israel too will not be allowed to bring the iPad in to Israel.  Communications Ministry took the decision to ban the device saying the Apple’s iPad is not yet certified whether it meets the local transmitter standards.

On the other hand the hackers are working very hard on how to hack the iPad and steal the SMS, files and content from the iPad owner. Other hackers are working to unlock it safely to work with other carriers and so on.
